The Pamlico River Inshore Fishing Charter — half day or full day, light tackle, up to 3 anglers. Tailored to the season and the bite.

Spend a half day or full day fishing the Pamlico River and surrounding Eastern North Carolina waters with Champs Coastal Charters. These guided inshore trips focus on light-tackle action for speckled trout, red drum, flounder, striped bass, bluefish, and other seasonal inshore species.
Captain Chandler adjusts launch locations and fishing areas based on conditions and the bite, giving guests the best opportunity for a successful day. Trips may explore the Pamlico River, Pamlico Sound, Neuse River, nearby backwaters, and big-water fishing grounds depending on the season.
This charter is beginner-friendly and well suited for families, friends, first-time anglers, and small groups. Rods, tackle, bait, fuel, ice, and water are included so guests can focus on learning techniques, catching fish, and making memories on the water.
Both trips fish up to 3 anglers and include rods, tackle, bait, fuel, ice, and water. A 50% deposit holds your date. Military and first responders receive a discount.
